At Tonic Tile Lounge, we believe exceptional spaces are created through collaboration, craftsmanship, and carefully curated materials. This stunning bathroom renovation is a perfect example of what can be achieved when experienced design professionals come together to create something truly timeless.

For this project, we had the pleasure of working alongside three outstanding industry experts: Jules Lyons of Overlay Interiors & Architecture, Horst Schosser from Hosch CNC Cutting, and Josiah Moran of Deckjacks New Zealand Ltd. Together, we transformed our client’s vision into two sophisticated, luxurious bathrooms that perfectly balance elegance with everyday functionality.

The design centres around one of our premium Italian porcelain collections in a generous 1200 × 1200mm format. Chosen for its refined aesthetic and enduring appeal, the collection features a matt finish on the floors and an antique satin finish on the walls, creating subtle contrast while maintaining a cohesive, seamless look. The large-format tiles minimise grout lines, enhancing the sense of space and delivering a clean, architectural finish.

To elevate the design even further, matching large-format porcelain slabs from the same collection were used to create bespoke vanity tops. Designed by Jules Lyons and expertly fabricated by Horst Schosser from Hosch CNC Cutting Solutions, each vanity features a striking waterfall edge with integrated porcelain basins. The result is a beautifully crafted statement piece that is both elegant and highly practical.

Porcelain slabs offer exceptional durability, making them an ideal choice for luxury bathrooms. Resistant to stains, scratches, moisture, and everyday wear, they provide lasting beauty with minimal maintenance—allowing our clients to enjoy a sophisticated finish without compromising on performance.
